Eastbourne Hackney Carriage Vehicles

• Licensed Hackney Carriages in Eastbourne are all white vehicles with an illuminated yellow, blue and black roof sign

• Hackney Carriages are allowed to ply for hire from designated taxi ranks and can pick up passengers who flag them down

• They have a blue sign at the rear, displaying the vehicle plate number

Eastbourne Private Hire Vehicles

• Licensed Private Hire Vehicles must be booked in advance through an operator

• They have a yellow sign at the rear, displaying the vehicle plate number

Always use an Eastbourne Licensed vehicle for your own safety. The drivers have been vetted.
