Street lights and road signage are the direct responsibility of East Sussex County Council (ESCC). 

Report a Fault to ESCC

You can report faults with street lights, illuminated road signs, bollards and other road signs using the ESCC fault reporting service.

The ESCC Highways Team aim to:

• repair normal faults such as single lights within five days of being reported ,
  
• repair priority work (more than five lights in a row) within 24 hours, and
  
• carry out emergency work within one hour of the fault being reported.
