Street lights and road signage are the direct responsibility of East Sussex County Council.
They aim to:
- repair normal faults such as single lights within five days of being reported ,
- repair priority work (more than five lights in a row) within 24 hours, and
- carry out emergency work within one hour of the fault being reported.
You can report faults with street lights, illuminated road signs, bollards and other road signs using the East Sussex County Council fault reporting service.
