Change Your House Name

If you would like to change the name of your house (in Eastbourne, East Sussex only) then you need to contact us so that we can ensure address records are kept up to date and do not duplicate each other.

 

We consult with Royal Mail which takes up to 14 days in order to avoid duplication of house names in the same street/adjoining streets. As part of this procedure we inform utility companies, land registry and emergency services of house name changes and new developments.

 

Please note that postal numbers cannot be removed from properties.
