Cycling is beneficial to your health and the environment. We would like to encourage residents and visitors to get on their bikes in and around Eastbourne.
In partnership with East Sussex County Council and Sustrans (who promote the National Cycling Network) we have incorporated cycle routes into our local highway schemes.
Private developers are being encouraged to provide cycleways as part of development proposals.
We hope that our cycle routes will increase the cycle usage around Eastbourne for both recreational and work related purposes.
