National Bus Pass: Concessionary Bus Fares

The National Bus Pass is a bus pass giving discounted travel throughout England after 9.30am Monday to Friday, and any time at weekends and bank holidays. You may use your bus pass from 9.00am to travel within the borough of Eastbourne.

Who is eligible for a National Bus Pass?

You may be eligible for a National Pass if you are a permanent resident of Eastbourne and you are:

  • 60 or Over, or

  • are disabled and eligible, or

  • are not permitted to drive or likely to be refused a driving licence for medical reasons

What should I do if I lose my pass?

Please let us know as soon as possible if your pass is lost or stolen. Passes can be replaced but this may take up to two weeks. A fee of £5 is charged to contribute towards administrative charges to replace the first lost pass. The fee for subsequent mislaid passes is £10

Stolen passes are replaced free of charge on receipt of a crime number from the Police.
