Our Priorities

The priorities for our Community Enforcement Team are as follows:

Priority 1 - High Profile Proactive Work

• Patrols on the seafront, town centre, parks and downland with the intention of deterring anti-social behaviour including street drinking and vandalism to council property.

Priority 2 - High Profile Reactive Work

• Responding to reports of anti-social behaviour including street drinking and vandalism to council property.

Priority 3 - Core Work

• Overhanging vegetation

• Litter issues

• Fly tipping

• Graffiti

• Fly-posting

• Abandoned vehicles

• Dog fouling

• Abandoned shopping and luggage trolleys

• Anti-social behaviour

• Unauthorised street trading

Priority 4 - Assisting other Agencies

• Assist other council Officers, the Police and Police Community Service Officers with their enforcement activities.
