Our beaches are cleared of litter regularly throughout the year. During the summer months we clear litter from our beaches daily.
There is always a team on hand to remove anything the sea may wash up from messages in bottles to fishing nets and ice cream wrappers.
Report Litter Online - Fault Reporting System
Many visitors take their rubbish home with them but unfortunately others are not so considerate.
You can help us to keep Eastbourne's beaches clean by reporting litter problems via the East Sussex Fault Reporting System.
The Fault Reporting system allows the public, as well as council staff to report faults directly to the appropriate participating Local Authority within the East Sussex area, including:
- Eastbourne Borough Council
- East Sussex County Council
- Hastings Borough Council
- Lewes District Council
- Rother District Council
- Wealden District Council
