Operation Crackdown is an initiative involving all the council's in Sussex, working with Sussex Police, who determine what vehicles may be removed as abandoned, using Police powers.
Operation Crackdown uses a computer system to enable all partner agencies, including the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service to access information about abandoned vehicles.
