Location (BN22 0UT)

Situated in the housing estates in the northern part of the Borough. Maywood Avenue is the main access road.

History

This park originated during the development of the Willingdon Trees housing estates built in the 1970s. Formerly just open grassland the recreation ground received substantial funding from the National Lottery and the housing association Places for People in 2010. In 2011 the park became nominated as a Queen Elizabeth II Field.

A variety of themed areas including those for play, sport and quieter seating.
