Sports Development

Eastbourne Borough Council's Sports Development Team (SDT) work with local sports clubs, schools and community groups. The aim is increase participation in sport within Eastbourne and help promote an active lifestyle and good health.

The SDT organise a range of activities for school age children during the school holidays. You can find details of these activities when they are published on our Sports Park page.

The team is co-ordinated by the Sports Development Manager. Sports Development forms part of the Community Services Department based at 68 Grove Road in Eastbourne.
