During the longer school holidays we split up the weeks by having special theme days and Educational visits from local and regional attractions.
We also team up with other Eastbourne Borough Council Playschemes and hold mini football tournaments as well as have swimming excursions to Motcombe Pool.

Zoolab UK Visit
During the 2006 Summer holidays we were blessed with a visit from a Zoolab UK Ranger and loads of his little creepy crawly friends!
The children were treated to an indepth age related, talk about the rainforest and all of its inhabitants. Including a series of hands-on workshops featuring a variety of animals from snakes and tarantulas to scorpions and millipedes.
Football Tournament
During the longer Holidays we team up with Shinewater and Hampden Park Sports Centres and hold mini Football Tournaments every Friday afternoon for the 8 and overs group.
Children are given the opportunity to travel to Hampden Park Sports Centre to compete in the tournament based on a merit scheme we have at the centre.
Swimming Excursions
During the summer holidays we have fun swimming excursions to Motcombe pool, twice a week.
Sessions last for around 2 hours and are supervised fully by members of our staff and include safe water based fun and games.
Children need to be booked into the afternoon session for that day.
Small surcharge applies to each child attending the swimming session.
