Rascals Playscheme runs every school holiday, Monday-Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm. It excludes Bank Holidays.
At Rascals the children are split into two groups the over 8s and under 8s.
On regular days the older group mainly focuses on sports such as football, rounders, cricket, hockey, tennis, badminton and more as well as games and arts and crafts.
While the younger group have free play with toys, play games, sports and make a range of things in arts and crafts.
During the day both groups also spend time in the sports hall on the bouncy castle and upstairs in ‘chill out’ time with the Playstation, Wii, Pool Table, Air Hockey, Toys, Arts and Crafts and more!
As well as all the normal activities we also have special extra activities for the children to do just to make the day that little bit more fun!
All these extra activities are free extras unless stated otherwise.
Under 8s
A group for 4 to 7 year olds. In this group we offer a wide range of games & activities which encourage team work as well as individual participation.
We aim to introduce to them social skills and help them improve their mental and physical development.

Over 8s
A group for 8 to 12 year olds. Like the younger group we aim to encourage team work, but also emphasise the importance of individual participation.
The children participate in a wide range of structured games and activities, which they themselves have helped choose, with the aim to increase their social skills and attention spans, both important characteristics required for educational development.
