Rascals Playscheme runs every school holiday, Monday-Friday from 8.45am to 4.30pm. It excludes Bank Holidays.
Structure of the Playscheme
We aim to provide a high quality service, to ensure health and safety and to maximise the children's enjoyment of the day.
In order to achieve this our Playscheme is split into two groups which are:
Staff
Rascals Playscheme is run by an experienced play leader co-ordinator, who is qualified to a NVQ level 3 in play-work. She is supported by a well-motivated, fun and friendly team of assistants.
In accordance with Ofsted, the large majority of Rascals assistants either already have, or are working towards various qualifications in Early Years, Play-work, Sports Coaching and Leadership or Teaching.
All are staff have current Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks, and are trained in Health and Safety Issues, Child Protection and First Aid.
Ofsted
Our Playscheme is Ofsted Registered, and is inspected regularly to ensure we provide quality daycare, that enhances your child's development both mentally and physically, and encourages team-work and independent thought through games and activities.
Our last Ofsted Inspection was on 5th April 2006 and our registry number is EY252616. Details of our last report can be found on the Ofsted website.
