Eastbourne has a magnificent heritage including a range of parks to suit all of your tastes and interests.
To help celebrate the Queen's 2012 Diamond Jubilee many of the town's parks and gardens have been nominated as Queen Elizabeth II Fields. Under this scheme the nominated areas will be given special protection that will ensure they are there for generations to come. See the links from this page to find out more.
Many parks offer areas for quiet relaxation while others have a full range of sports facilities and children's playgrounds.
All of our parks are free to use. Two of our parks are closed at night. The availability of toilet and refreshment facilities varies so please find details on the park page you are interested in.
Summer events include the circus and fair at Princes Park and occasional open-air theatre at the Italian Gardens and Manor Gardens. We also have a range of community events taking place.
