During the latter half of 2009 the Borough Council, in liaison with the Allotments and Gardens Society, carried out a detailed review of allotment provision in the Borough. The review looked in detail at current under-provision and how demand might be accommodated in the future. The review forms an important background document that planners will consider as part of the new Local Development Framework.
