The new building will provide many opportunities to get involved with the gallery; families, schools, colleges, universities, artists, teachers, groups, young people and adults can all enjoy, learn and participate at the Towner.

 

We are developing a programme of events, regular sessions, talks/tours and special projects to encourage a friendly and informative experience for all our visitors.

 

Please go to the Towner Offsite website to see some of the work we have recently been doing with Collection Connections, bringing a selection from our renowned art collection to schools and the public across East Sussex.

 

As part of the gallery’s opening programme, Collection Connections will host an exhibition of pupil’s work from local schools; Stafford Junior, Hazel Court Special School and Causeway Secondary School, alongside works from our collection that inspired them.   This will coincide with the launch of a Collection Resource Pack for schools.
