Towner re-opened in April 2009, in an award-winning and fully accessible new building that boasts the largest display area in the region.
With a programme of cutting edge contemporary and historic exhibitions and themed collection displays, award-winning programmes of learning and outreach and exciting events for every age, Towner is engaging and inspiring for all.

Entry to Towner is free. With the exception of Towner's special summer exhibition, all exhibitions are free.
