Ongoing Redevelopment

Since 2004 a programme of redevelopment has been taking place at the Redoubt.

Each winter, while the Redoubt is closed to the public, staff and volunteers work hard to refurbish existing displays and to create new ones. For the 2008 new displays include:

 

  • Sussex Sappers - The Story of the Royal Engineers

  • Eastbourne at War

 

Also, thanks to a kind donation from Bexhill Amateur Theatrical Society, we have a new Costume Store where young and old alike can try on real military uniforms.
