The Eastbourne Local History Strategy Working Group has been set up and represents:
This group has been working together to develop a shared vision for a new Local History Centre and to explore a range of potential sites in the town for such a facility.
Research undertaken includes site visits to local and regional museums, and best practice standards in museum development and management.
The group will continue to meet to develop ideas and to carry out feasibility studies and business planning for a new Local History Centre.
