Following the period of research the group aims to apply for external grant aid.
It is hoped that suitable investment would be sourced and used to convert an existing building to an accessible Local History Centre. The new centre would have education and learning at its heart and raise the profile of the town’s rich history.
We are therefore looking to this phase of the Museum’s development as one of a great opportunity that will lead to significant service improvement.
