Funding

Following this period of research the group aims to apply for external grant aid in early 2007.

This inward investment to the town would be used to convert an existing building to a modern and accessible Local History Centre. This building would have education and learning at its heart and raise the profile of the town’s rich history.

We are therefore looking to this phase of the Museum’s development as one of a great opportunity that will lead to significant service improvement.
