Local History Museum staff and volunteers will continue a programme of collections care.
Volunteers from the Eastbourne Natural History and Archaeological Society have been auditing and conserving the archaeological collections of the Local History Museum.
To develop a new Local History Centre successfully takes time and money. By consulting closely with the Societies and developing strong partnerships, we increase our chances of achieving external funding, which is essential for such a project.
Our hope is that we will be opening a new centre in the near future.
