This exciting project is bringing the construction of a major new contemporary building in a prime location next to the Congress Theatre.

It will bring a 21^st century addition to Devonshire Park, Eastbourne’s cultural quarter and will be a "must see" on any visitor's itinerary, as well as a building for residents to be proud of.

The building is programmed to be completed at the end of April 2008 and will open to the public in late summer 2008.

The new cultural centre will provide:

• community and education spaces

• a café

• a gift shop
