Eastbourne is home to a rich variety of museums and galleries, including Towner, the acclaimed new contemporary art museum which opened in April 2009.

  • Towner - The contemporary art museum for the South East.  This award-winning new gallery presents a unique programme of contemporary and historic art, alongside displays from the renowned Towner Collection.
    New! Towner now has its own website at www.townereastbourne.org.uk. Visit and bookmark the new site for details of all exhibitions and events as well as opening times and visitor information.

  • Redoubt Military Museum - A restored Napoleonic fortress, the Redoubt Museum is home to the rich regimental collections of The Royal Sussex Regiment, the Queen’s Royal Irish Hussars as well as the collection of Sussex Combined Services.

  • Eastbourne Local History Museum - Eastbourne Borough Council is working closely with local groups and societies to preserve the local history collection until a new home is found for the collections.
