We can celebrate the opening of Cranbrook, which is an affordable Extra Care scheme in Eastbourne for the over 60's.
Eastbourne Borough Council, East Sussex County Council , Saxon Weald Housing Association and the Homes and Community Agency have worked together to develop a scheme of sixty-two flats for older people with care and support needs.
Fifty-two of the flats are for rent and ten of the flats are for sale on a shared-equity basis.
Forty-five of the flats have two bedrooms and seventeen have one bedroom. All sixty-two flats are fully wheelchair accessible and have south-facing Juliette balconies.
Residents have housing support from an on-site scheme manager and a 24-hour on-site care service.
