The print version is no longer available, but you can download the leaflet in PDF format from the DCLG website.

The HHSRS is a risk assessment tool used to assess potential risks to the health and safety of occupants in residential properties. The legislation came into effect on 6 April 2006.

The new assessment method focuses on the hazards present in housing. Tackling these hazards will make housing healthier and safer to live in.
