Eastbourne Care and Repair, the local independent Home Improvement Agency, can help disabled people apply for Disabled Facilities Grants from Eastbourne Borough Council.
The grants can assist with adaptations to properties in Eastbourne, to enable disabled people to remain in their homes and live as independently as possible.
Adapting Your Home
Care and Repair is experienced in helping people adapt their homes to make life easier, with specially designed showers, kitchens and stairlifts.
Together with the council's Environmental Health service and East Sussex Social Services, we have agreed a Joint Approach to Adaptations, with a free advice booklet to download.
The purpose of this joint approach is to make the adaptations process easier, improving the information available and time taken to process grant applications.
