Eastbourne Care and Repair is the local independent Home Improvement Agency.
The agency provides services to vulnerable homeowners who, because of their age or disability, need help with housing renovation, repairs and adaptations.
Care and Repair is a Registered Friendly Society with charitable status (Number 26237R).
It relies on the support of other charities and the public for its charitable Hardship Fund. Voluntary donations are welcome.
Working in Partnership
Eastbourne Care and Repair is part funded by Eastbourne Borough Council and works in partnership with the council's Environmental Health service, the Healthy Eastbourne Board, East Sussex County Council Social Services and the Eastbourne Downs NHS Primary Care Trust.
The Chairman of the Care and Repair Management Committee is Graham Rutland of Age Concern Eastbourne. For details of current members of the Management Committee, staff, financial summary, recent projects and achievements, download our latest Annual Report.
Supporting People
The lead organisation funding Care and Repair is Supporting People, a government programme which helps adults who need particular kinds of support connected to their housing needs, helping people to achieve independence at home.
