Houses in Multiple Occupation Licensing Fees

Step by step guide for landlords and agents in Eastbourne for completing the application form for a property licence for Houses in Multiple Occupation.

Applications will not be accepted unless accompanied by the correct fee.

Once accepted, we will not make any refunds of application fees unless in the case of an application for a licence under Part 2 of the Housing Act 2004, the house was not an HMO, or was not an HMO that was required to be licensed under the Management of Houses in Multiple Occupation (England) Regulations 2006 Reg.7(a) at the time of the application.

If you download the application form in PDF format to return to us, please staple a cheque to the front cover of the form. Cheques to be made payable to Eastbourne Borough Council. Please write "HMO Licensing Fee" together with the address for which the application relates on the back of the cheque.
