Sanctuary Grant
This scheme is one of a range of options available to prevent homelessness. It will enable people considered to be at risk of domestic violence to remain in their own homes should they so wish.
It will provide additional locks, window security, outward opening external doors and in certain cases a safe room within the home that will provide a refuge at times of danger. The grant is up to a maximum of £1,000.

Security Grant
This scheme will provide for works such as replacement of unsuitable doors, additional door and window locks, security lights, spy holes and door chains for households that are identified as vulnerable to burglary.
The grant is for the over 65s or disabled with less than £6,000 of savings and is up to a maximum of £1,000. This scheme is being delivered in conjunction with local contractors and Sussex Police.
