East Sussex Joint Approach to Adaptations

Eastbourne Borough Council provides Disabled Facilities Grants to assist disabled people in Eastbourne to enable them to live as independently as possible.

The council's Environmental Health service is working in partnership with other agencies to make the adaptation process easier for our residents.

Together with Social Services, the other Borough and District Councils in East Sussex, and independent Home Improvement Agencies, including Eastbourne Care and Repair, we have agreed a Joint Approach to Adaptations.

The purpose of this joint approach is to improve the information available and time taken to process grant applications.
