The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) produced advice such as “Over the garden hedge” and “High Hedges: complaining to the Council”.
The ODPM has now changed its name to the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG). These ODPM documents are still current and can be downloaded from the DCLG's online publications database.
