We Will:
- Do everything we can to prevent homelessness, for example through negotiation, mediation or working with private landlords
- Complete enquiries into your application as quickly as possible, normally within 33 days
- Answer your queries promptly, be polite and treat everyone fairly and with courtesy and respect
- Ask your opinions and suggestions on how to improve the service we give
- Arrange temporary accommodation for you (where we have reason to believe you may be homeless, eligible for assistance and have a priority need). This may be bed and breakfast style accommodation, but only if no other type of temporary accommodation is available
- Try to move you out of temporary accommodation as soon as possible into more suitable housing
- Explore your housing options such as privately rented accommodation
You Will:
- Do everything you can to quickly provide the information we ask for
- Provide us with the correct information, so we can speed up our service to you
- Try and keep appointments with your Homeless Advisor or phone in plenty of time to arrange a more suitable appointment
