Local Events and Awareness Days
East Sussex Healthy Homes Project held an awareness day in Eastbourne Arndale Centre on Friday 22 February 2008, featuring our energy saving publicity materials.
Environmental Health held a series of Information Days in the Arndale Centre during 2006 and 2007, working with Surrey and East Sussex Energy Efficiency Advice Centre.
On 18 and 30 October 2007, our staff dressed up in colourful costumes as washing machines and cavity wall insulation, to attract attention and raise awareness. We handed out over 400 free low energy lightbulbs.
We also promoted energy saving advice at the Local Life Show event on Saturday 15 September 2007. See Related Pages for more information about our local events.
Save Your 20 Per Cent Campaign
Around 450 people signed Energy Saving Trust commitment pledge cards at our 2007 events, indicating what they would do to save energy at home.
You can also commit to Save Your 20 Per Cent online - find out more in this section about the campaign and how to sign up.
