Renovating Empty Properties - Advice for Owners

Information for owners of empty homes in Eastbourne about renovating your property.

Empty properties are often in need of renovation and in appropriate circumstances you could be eligible for financial assistance provided by the council. Currently this is in the form of grants of up to £10,000 to cover up to 50 per cent of the eligible works.

Consideration is also being given to the use of loans for top-up purposes where the costs of the eligible works exceed £20,000.

In return you would be expected to let the property for at least five years to tenants nominated by the council. Find out more in this section, or use the online form below to contact us.
