What is Housing Benefit?

Housing Benefit is a national scheme to help those on low income and capital to pay their rent.  All or part of your rent may be paid for you through Housing Benefit. It is sometimes called rent rebate or rent allowance.

Where can I go to speak to someone about my benefits?

Find out more about who can claim Housing Benefit, how to claim, how much you can claim and what affects your claim in this section of the website.
