Holding hands - find support groups

There are many support groups in Eastbourne to help people, or relatives of people who:

  • suffer from illness
  • are bereaved
  • are victims of crime or violence
  • are disabled
  • are homeless
  • are victims of abuse
  • need guidance or have no-one to talk to or confide in

The East Sussex Community Information Service website (ESCIS) gives information and contact details for most of these local support groups.

Support Groups Web Directory

  • Use the directory in this section to find over 200 local and national support group website addresses and telephone helpline numbers

  • search the directory categories for parents, teenagers and young people, older people or disabled people

  • or search for topics including consumer and legal advice, childcare, pregnancy and sexual health, drugs or domestic violence

  • or select the category General Directories to find many more national organisations and other sources of help and support
