Social care services in Eastbourne for children and families, adults and older people are provided by East Sussex County Council.

Occupational therapists from Social Services work in partnership with Environmental Health staff from Eastbourne Borough Council to help people with Disabled Facilities Grants.

Social Care Direct is a new contact centre providing one single point of contact across East Sussex for adult social care services. It provides help for adults who find it difficult to manage daily tasks in the home.

 

Social Care Direct can:

 

  • provide information or leaflets
  • take applications so specialist workers can assess what services you may need
  • point you to other social care agencies
  • put existing customers in touch with their social worker
