The council's Environmental Health team held a display in Eastbourne Library in Grove Road from Monday 7 June to Saturday 12 June for Food Safety Week 2010.
Leaflets, Quiz and Recipe Cards
Kristy Byrne, Library Manager said there was a lot of interest in our stand, with lots of people taking leaflets, recipe cards and quiz sheets, and commenting on the display boards.
As part of the Food Standards Agency (FSA) campaign, Food Safety Week this year focused on the importance of good food hygiene in the home. The messages given highlight the importance of the 4 C's:
Our stand offered advice and guidance on good hygiene in the home and what you can do to protect your food. There were leaflets to take away from the FSA on the 4 C's and you can also get more advice and information on this site using the links from this page.
You can download some of the materials from the display in PDF format below - an advice leaflet, recipe cards and a Food Hygiene Quiz.
