We also have opportunities at the moment to help financially those landlords who have properties that are unoccupied and need refurbishing. Are you one of those landlords? What do you think about the town with regards to run down properties etc - PS - keep it polite!

What about the Local Housing Allowance?? It appears that early fears landlords may have hands about this are unfounded. Are tenants who now receive their rent direct acting responsibly? We want to know from you.

1, Rent Deposit Scheme: We are still looking for landlords to work with the Council in offering their properties to potential tenants that approach the local authority. In the Councils new Private Housing Renewal Strategy 2008-2011 there are series of initiatives available to owner- occupiers and landlords which include financial assistance to complete works that assist in improving those properties with regards to their energy efficiency. We are offering landlords who take part in the scheme £1000 towards energy measures! But we want to hear from you. Is this attractive? Is energy efficiency important to you? Do you want to find out more? |
