Healthy Eastbourne Board

The Healthy Eastbourne Board is a multi-agency group that meets quarterly.

Our objective is to provide a forum in which a range of statutory, voluntary and independent sector organisations can meet, talk, and plan joint actions to improve health in Eastbourne.

Our Priorities

Our priorities and projects are partly influenced by local and partly by national health priorities. The Government's Choosing Health White Paper is central to much of our work. Find out more in this section.

Our work contributes to the Eastbourne Strategic Partnership Community Strategy, and also to the wider county and government national health improvement objectives.

Our Partners

The partnership consists of local health service providers, public bodies, the voluntary sector and community groups who are working together to improve the health of local communities.

The key partners in the Healthy Eastbourne Board are:

  • Eastbourne Borough Council

  • Eastbourne Downs NHS Primary Care Trust

  • East Sussex County Council Social Services

  • Eastbourne Association of Voluntary Services
