Help for Staff Who Want to Stop Smoking
If you have a group of six or more staff that want to stop smoking, the East Sussex Stop Smoking Service can visit your workplace weekly for six weeks and provide help and support to your staff on a convenient day and time, whether this is in work time or on a break.
New legislation from 1 July 2007 has made all enclosed public places and workplaces smokefree. Giving support to staff who want to quit smoking helps them enjoy the healthier smokefree environment, so everyone can socialise, relax, travel, shop and work free from second-hand smoke.
If you would like to hold a stop smoking group at a workplace in East Sussex, telephone 0800 917 8896 or download and return the letter and application form below.
Outside East Sussex, you can find your local service online, or by telephoning the national NHS Smoking Helpline on 0800 169 0 169, or texting GIVE UP with your full postcode to 88088.
