Guide to Staying Safe at Night Card

Eastbourne Nightwatch and the council's Licensing Team have produced a handy pocket sized card to help you stay safe at night.

You can pick up a copy in local pubs and nightclubs, or download a PDF version below.

The card has practical tips on staying safe in Eastbourne:

  • Plan your night out and your journey home

  • Drinking too much can make you vulnerable

  • Keep yourself and your belongings safe

  • Do not accept drinks from people you do not know

  • For your safety use only taxi vehicles displaying an Eastbourne Borough Council plate

There is also a map of licensed taxi ranks and private hire offices, to help you get home safely and telephone contact numbers for the Police.

The card has been published by Eastbourne Business Crime Group Nightwatch and Eastbourne Crime Reduction Partnership.
