Local Forecasts and Pollution Alerts
Eastbourne air quality readings, forecasts and pollution alerts for Sussex are available on the Sussex Air Quality website.
Pollution forecast alerts are issued whenever Moderate, High or Very High air pollution levels are expected over the next day or during the weekend.
The airALERT forecasts service is brought to you by the local authorities and NHS Primary Care Trusts in Sussex, the Health Protection Agency and the Environment Agency, in conjunction with King's College London.
National Air Pollution Public Information Service
The government Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) manages the national Air Pollution Public Information Service in partnership with the Department of Health.
The service offers advice, information and up to date reporting of levels of pollutants, forecasts and alert messages when levels are high.
