East Sussex County Council adopted supplementary planning guidance on parking standards in February 2002. Eastbourne Borough Council adopted the same guidance in December 2002.
The guidance specifies maximum parking standards for different classes of development and provides zonal maps which modify the car parking standards for each of the East Sussex towns.
