The Employment Land Review (ELR) was commissioned in April 2007 by Eastbourne Borough Council and Wealden District Council.
The purpose of the report is to inform future policies relating to employment land, within the Local Development Framework (LDF). The Employment Land Review was completed in April 2008 and was used to inform the prepartion of the Core Strategy.
Since April 2008, there have been significant changes in the national economy. It was therefore essential for the Council to reassess the employment forecasts and land requirements to take forward in the Proposed Core Strategy. In light of this an Eastbourne Employment Land Review Addendum was prepared (December 2010) which is available to download below.
