WSP Uk Ltd have been appointed by the Council to prepare a Parking Strategy for the town.
The Parking Strategy will assess the supply and demand for on and off-street parking in the town centre; understand the potential impact of future development in the town centre on supply and demand and determine what interventions will be required to manage the supply and demand for parking space more effectively.
It is anticipated that consultation on the draft Strategy will take place in the summer of 2011.
