The Local Development Framework (LDF) is the new development plan for Eastbourne. We are preparing the plan following reforms to the planning system introduced by the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 and subsequently revised through the Town and Coutry Planning Regulations (Amendment) 2008.The LDF is a collection of planning documents that will eventually take over from the current Borough Plan.
Submission of the Eastbourne Plan - Core Strategy and the Town Centre Area Action Plan
Latest: On the 31 January 2012, Eastbourne Borough Council submitted the following two Development Plan Documents to the Secretary of State of State for Independent Examination: Eastbourne Plan - Core Strategy and the Town Centre Area Action Plan.
