Eastbourne Borough Council and Wealden District Council are working in partnership with East Sussex County Council, who have commissioned Transport Planning (International) Ltd consultants to undertake a Transport Assessment for the Eastbourne and South Wealden area.
The Transport Assessment aims to demonstrate how people currently travel, and how any new development will impact upon travel behaviour, air quality and the performance of highway and public transport networks. It evaluates the sustainability of different development scenarios in terms of transportation issues.
